Welcoming a child in to the world is one of the most wonderful reasons for a celebration and a baby naming ceremony allows you to bring family, friends and loved ones together to celebrate the life that has been created without the religious aspects of a christening or baptism.

The ceremony can be whatever you want, there are no rules; as big or as small as you want, as formal or as informal.  You can have it wherever you want, with whoever you want and however you want.  You may want a reading or a poem, to make promises to your child or you may want to choose life mentors for your child.
